California High School Football - Del Mar knocked off by Gilroy

In Thursday's non-league game, the Gilroy Mustangs (Gilroy, CA) football team overcame the visiting Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA), by a tally of 21-0.

In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 4. Gilroy will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The 76ers enter the game with a 3-0 record after their 21-16 non-league win over Prospect (Saratoga, CA).
