The Laney Buccaneers felled the visiting Hoggard Vikings football team by a score of 48-34 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Buccaneers face the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, October 3. Laney will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Cougars go into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 35-6 non-league loss to North Brunswick (Leland, NC).
The Vikings (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC). The Trojans go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, West Brunswick lost by Ashley (Wilmington, NC), 32-8, in a non-league challenge.
