In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Sweetwater Red Devils volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Chula Vista Spartans.

The Red Devils (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Morse (San Diego, CA). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-9 record. In their last challenge, Morse was beaten by Madison (San Diego, CA), 2-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the San Ysidro Cougars (San Diego, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, October 8. Chula Vista will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
