In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Robertson Cardinals volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Pecos Panthers.
The Cardinals (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM). The Sundevils enter the non-league contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Espanola Valley was tipped by Grants (Grants, NM), 2-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Panthers battle the Santa Fe Indian Braves (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, October 1. Pecos will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record.
