Columbine Rebels (Littleton, CO) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting George Washington Patriots (Denver, CO), 5-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Columbine moves its record to 8-0 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Chatfield (Littleton, CO) to clash with the Chargers in a 5A Jefferson County test on Wednesday, October 2. The Chargers come into the test with a record of 4-2. Chatfield lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Denver East (Denver, CO)

The Patriots now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bear Creek for a non-league battle on Monday, September 30. George Washington will battle a Bears squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Wheat Ridge (Wheat Ridge, CO). The Bears record now stands at 3-5.
