Stevens Raiders (Rapid City, SD) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Douglas/Rapid City Christian Patriot Comets (Box Elder, SD), 10-2 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Stevens advances its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Spearfish (Spearfish, SD) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 3. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 4-7.

The Patriot Comets now have a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they host St. Thomas More for a non-league test on Saturday, September 28. Douglas/Rapid City Christian will clash with a Cavaliers team coming off a 8-1 non-league loss to Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD). The Cavaliers record now stands at 3-7.
