Fans at Thursday's non-league battle between the Palisade Bulldogs (Palisade, CO) and the host Eagle Valley Devils (Gypsum, CO), saw Palisade's soccer squad hold off Eagle Valley by a count of 2-1.

The Bulldogs (2-6) will now prepare for their battle against Delta (Delta, CO). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 5-3 record. In their last battle, Delta tipped Aspen (Aspen, CO), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Devils battle the Battle Mountain Huskies (Edwards, CO) in a 4A Western Slope battle, on Thursday, October 3. Eagle Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
