Next, the Raiders battle the West Carter Comets (Olive Hill, KY) in a District 62 contest, on Monday, September 30. East Carter will attempt to upgrade on its 9-6 season record. The Comets enter the contest with a 3-5 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Ironton (Ironton, OH).

The Bulldogs (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY). The Golden Eagles enter the District 57 contest with a 7-5 record. In their last contest, Johnson Central held off Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY), 2-1, in a league contest.
