The Erie Tigers soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Mead Mavericks to 1 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.
The Tigers now hold a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie View for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. Erie will play a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Poudre (Fort Collins, CO). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 3-3.
With the loss, Mead moves to 4-2 on the year. The Mavericks host Silver Creek (Longmont, CO) to play the Raptors in a 4A/3A Granite Peaks bout on Thursday, October 3. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 4-1.
