In Thursday's non-league outing, the host Fitchburg Red Raiders soccer squad scored a tight 4-1 win over the South Lancaster Academy Crusaders.
The Red Raiders (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Oakmont Regional (Ashburnham, MA). The Spartans enter the non-league outing with a 2-3 record.
Next up, the Crusaders confront the St. Paul Knights (Worcester, MA) in a non-league outing, on Monday, September 30. South Lancaster Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Burncoat (Worcester, MA).
