With the triumph, Nelson County advances its record to 4-10 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Larue County (Hodgenville, KY) to clash with the Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-9.

The Eagles now have a 0-17 record. They take the field next when they travel to Taylor County for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1.
