The Genesee Christian Soldiers held off the host Laingsburg Wolfpack soccer team by a tally of 1-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next, the Soldiers face the Washtenaw Christian Academy Wildcats (Saline, MI) in a Freelance game, on Friday, September 27. Genesee Christian will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 6-3 league loss to Livingston Christian (Pinckney, MI).

The Wolfpack (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Bath (Bath, MI). The Fighting Bees come into the Central Michigan game with a 7-4 record.
