The Homestead Highlanders soccer squad scored 5 points and held the host Slinger Owls to 0 in the Highlanders league victory on Thursday.

The Highlanders now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they travel to Kenosha Tremper for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 28. Homestead will play a Trojans squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Muskego (Muskego, WI). The Trojans record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Slinger moves to 2-5 on the year. The Owls travel to Whitefish Bay (Whitefish Bay, WI) to play the Blue Dukes in a North Shore bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Blue Dukes go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Whitefish Bay lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against New Trier (Winnetka, IL)
