In Thursday's non-league outing, the host La Grande Tigers soccer squad scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Nyssa Bulldogs.

The Tigers (3-4) will now prepare for their outing against Riverside (Boardman, OR). The Pirates go into the non-league outing with a 5-4 record. In their last outing, Riverside got by Four Rivers (Ontario, OR), 8-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Bulldogs play the McLoughlin Pioneers (Milton-Freewater, OR) in a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 outing, on Saturday, September 28. Nyssa will attempt to improve on its 1-8 season record. The Pioneers go into the outing with a 5-3 record after their 8-0 league win over Irrigon (Irrigon, OR).
