The Bearcats now sport a 17-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln East for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. Scottsbluff will encounter a Spartans team coming off a 16-5 league loss to Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE). The Spartans record now stands at 15-11.

With the loss, Cozad moves to 8-14 on the season. The Haymakers host Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE) to encounter the Stars in a non-league outing on Saturday, September 28. The Stars come into the outing with a record of 14-8. Kearney Catholic won 16-1 in their recent non-league outing against Lexington (Lexington, NE)
