With the triumph, St. Elizabeth upgrades its record to 12-2 on the year. The Hornets host Russellville (Russellville, MO) to play the Indians in a non-league game on Tuesday, October 1. The Indians enter the game with a record of 6-4.

The Lions now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Vienna for a Class 1 District 5 game on Monday, September 30. Tuscumbia will play a Eagles squad coming off a 16-4 non-league win over Crocker (Crocker, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 12-2.
