Kansas High School Volleyball - Santa Fe Trail over Atchison County

The Santa Fe Trail Chargers (Carbondale, KS) volleyball knocked off the visiting Atchison County Tigers (Effingham, KS), 2-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Chargers now possess a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Burlington for a Pioneer bout on Tuesday, October 1. Santa Fe Trail will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fredonia (Fredonia, KS). The Wildcats record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Atchison County drops to 6-13 on the campaign. The Tigers host Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS) to clash with the Dragons in a Northeast Kansas League bout on Thursday, September 26. The Dragons come into the bout with a record of 3-20. Valley Falls won 2-1 in their recent league bout against McLouth (McLouth, KS)
