With the win, Nicholas County advances its record to 11-10 on the season. The Bluejackets host Mason County (Maysville, KY) to face the Royals in a non-league test on Monday, September 30. The Royals go into the test with a record of 9-13. Mason County won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY)

The Wildcats now sport a 4-14 record. They take the field next when they host Fairview for a non-league contest on Tuesday, October 1. Bath County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Raceland (Raceland, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 5-14.
