The Blazer Tomcats (Ashland, KY) volleyball were victorious over the host Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY), 3-0 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Tomcats now possess a 17-1 record. They play next when they travel to Shelby Valley for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 28. Blazer will clash with a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 18-7.

With the loss, Rowan County drops to 10-4 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Morgan County (West Liberty, KY) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 3-11. Morgan County lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
