Nebraska High School Volleyball - Meridian overwhelmed by Bruning-Davenport/Shickley

Bruning-Davenport/Shickley Eagles (Bruning, NE) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Bruning-Davenport/Shickley advances its record to 10-3 on the season. The Eagles host Southern (Wymore, NE) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 1. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 4-12.

The Mustangs now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nebraska Lutheran for a D2 District 4 contest on Tuesday, October 1. Meridian will battle a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Omaha Christian Academy (Omaha, NE). The Knights record now stands at 10-8.
