In Thursday's league challenge, the host Great Bridge Wildcats volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the King's Fork Bulldogs.

The Wildcats (6-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Landstown (Virginia Beach, VA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Landstown lost by Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs play the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Tuesday, October 1. King's Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to First Colonial (Virginia Beach, VA).
