In Thursday's league challenge, the host Johnston Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 victory over the Mt. Pleasant Kilties.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Narragansett (Narragansett, RI). The Mariners enter the Division 3 challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Narragansett beat Tiverton (Tiverton, RI), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Kilties meet the Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI) in a Division 3 challenge, on Monday, September 30. Mt. Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 3-2 league loss to St. Raphael Academy (Pawtucket, RI).
