The Portland Bulldogs volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Lewiston Blue Devils to 1 in the Bulldogs league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now have a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Windham for a Class A outing on Monday, September 30. Portland will play a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 league win over Massabesic (Waterboro, ME). The Eagles record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Lewiston drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Blue devils host Maranacook (Readfield, ME) to play the Black Bears in a non-league outing on Monday, September 30. The Black Bears come into the outing with a record of 3-5. Maranacook won 3-1 in their recent league outing against North Yarmouth Academy (Yarmouth, ME)
