Maryvale Prep traveled to Frederick, MD to take on the St. John Catholic Vikings in a very anticipated match. Knowing the Lady Lions have a target on our back has not altered our focus on the court. The Lions accepted the challenge that the Vikings presented, and defeated them in three straight sets, 25-18, 25-19, 25-17. Maryvale was led by Sophomore, Outside Hitter, Sophie Harari who had 13 Kills, 9 Digs, 4 Assists, 2 Aces & 2 Blocks and Senior, Outside Hitter, Jessica Gogol, who had 10 Kills, 3 Assists, 2 Blocks, 9 Digs & 1 Ace. Sophomore, Middle, Rhian O'Connor & Senior Setter, Emily Kuczynski both had 4 Kills. Junior Setter, Miley Snodgrass had 20 assists.
