Maury Commodores (Norfolk, VA) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Princess Anne Cavaliers (Virginia Beach, VA), 3-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Maury improves its record to 8-4 on the season. The Commodores host Granby (Norfolk, VA) to face the Comets in a Eastern test on Monday, September 30. The Comets go into the test with a record of 7-4. Granby won 3-0 in their recent league test against Manor (Portsmouth, VA)

The Cavaliers now own a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cox for a Beach test on Tuesday, October 1. Princess Anne will face a Falcons squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Salem (Virginia Beach, VA). The Falcons record now stands at 12-3.
