The Mustangs (24-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Hulbert (Hulbert, OK). The Riders come into the NEO Lakes challenge with a 7-9 record. In their last challenge, Hulbert lost by Salina (Salina, OK), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Buffaloes play the Tishomingo Indians (Tishomingo, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. McAlester will attempt to upgrade on its 13-19 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 4-21 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Oklahoma School for the Deaf (Sulphur, OK).
