The Narragansett Mariners edged the host Tiverton Tigers volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Mariners face the Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) in a Division 3 game, on Monday, September 30. Narragansett will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Panthers go into the game with a 2-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Mt. Pleasant (Providence, RI).
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Ponaganset (North Scituate, RI). The Chieftains go into the Division 3 game with a 5-3 record. In their last game, Ponaganset was edged by Block Island (New Shoreham, RI), 3-2, in a league game.
