The Simley Spartans topped the visiting North Polars volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Spartans face the Humboldt Hawks (St. Paul, MN) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, October 1. Simley will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record.

The Polars (3-11) will now prepare for their game against South St. Paul (South St. Paul, MN). The Packers go into the Metro East game with a 18-6 record. In their last game, South St. Paul went down by Anoka (Anoka, MN), 2-1, in a non-league game.
