The Northwestern Area Wildcats (Mellette, SD) volleyball knocked off the visiting Waubay/Summit Mustangs (Waubay, SD), 3-0 in Thursday's league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 20-5 record. They play next when they host Redfield for a non-league bout on Tuesday, October 1. Northwestern Area will clash with a Pheasants team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Milbank (Milbank, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Waubay/Summit drops to 1-13 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Langford (Langford, SD) to clash with the Lions in a B Region 1 bout on Thursday, October 3. The Lions come into the bout with a record of 6-13.
