With the win, Staunton improves its record to 10-3 on the season. The Bulldogs host Vandalia (Vandalia, IL) to face the Vandals in a South Central test on Thursday, October 3. The Vandals go into the test with a record of 4-17. Vandalia lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Hillsboro (Hillsboro, IL)

The Warriors now own a 16-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Freeburg for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Wesclin will face a Midgets squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Columbia (Columbia, IL). The Midgets record now stands at 9-9.
