The Academy Park Knights football team (Sharon Hill, PA), was tipped 7-6 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Great Valley Patriots (Malvern, PA)

With the win, Great Valley advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Patriots travel to Downingtown West (Downingtown, PA) to encounter the Whippets in a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. The Whippets go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Downingtown West won 20-19 in their recent non-league contest against Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA)

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Chester Clippers (Chester, PA) in a Delaware Valley contest, on Saturday, October 4. Academy Park will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Clippers enter the contest with a 6-0 record after their 78-7 league win over Chichester (Boothwyn, PA).
