Michigan High School Football - Mio-Au Sable tops Alcona

The Mio-Au Sable Thunderbolts football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Alcona Tigers to 26 in the Thunderbolts league triumph on Friday.
The Thunderbolts now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whittemore-Prescott for a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. Mio-Au Sable will face a Cardinals team coming off a 60-36 non-league loss to Au Gres-Sims (Au Gres, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-4.
The Tigers (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Heston Academy (St. Helen, MI). The Patriots go into the North Star - Big Dipper (8 Man) challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Heston Academy toppled Rogers City (Rogers City, MI), 36-0, in a league test.
