Iowa High School Football - MOC-Floyd Valley holds off Algona

The MOC-Floyd Valley Dutchmen (Orange City, IA) football tipped the visiting Algona Bulldogs (Algona, IA), 14-13 in Friday's league outing.
The Dutchmen now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Heelan Catholic for a 3A District 1 game on Friday, October 3. MOC-Floyd Valley will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 28-8 league win over Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-1.
The Bulldogs (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Humboldt (Humboldt, IA). The Wildcats enter the 3A District 1 game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Humboldt was edged by Webster City (Webster City, IA), 21-14, in a league game.
