Michigan High School Football - Freeland over Alma

The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) and the host Alma Panthers (Alma, MI), witnessed Freeland's football squad knock off Alma by a tally of 42-13.

The Falcons (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Garber (Essexville, MI). The Dukes enter the Tri-Valley - Red bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Garber dropped by Swan Valley (Saginaw, MI), 42-6, in a league bout.

The Panthers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Powers Catholic for a non-league bout on Friday, October 3. Alma will encounter a Chargers team coming off a 48-7 non-league loss to Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI). The Chargers record now stands at 0-5.
