Nebraska High School Football - Southern Valley loses to Alma

The Southern Valley Eagles football team (Oxford, NE), was topped 42-14 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE)

With the win, Alma upgrades its record to 2-3 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Arapahoe (Arapahoe, NE) to confront the Warriors in a D1 District 9 (8 Man) match on Friday, October 3. The Warriors enter the match with a record of 1-4. Arapahoe lost 55-0 in their recent league match against Dundy County-Stratton (Benkelman, NE)

Coming up next, the Eagles confront the Hi-Line [Eustis-Farnam/Elwood] (Eustis, NE) in a D1 District 9 (8 Man) battle, on Friday, October 3. Southern Valley will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The go into the battle with a 1-4 record after their 53-14 league loss to St. Patrick's (North Platte, NE).
