Mississippi High School Football - Amite County smashes Salem

September 26, 2025: Tylertown, MS 39667

The Amite County Trojans (Liberty, MS) football trounced the host Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS), 52-12 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilkinson County for a 2A Region 7 outing on Friday, October 10.

With the defeat, Salem drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Discovery Christian (Florence, MS) to clash with the in a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. The come into the outing with a record of 1-5. Discovery Christian lost 28-0 in their recent non-league outing against Manchester Academy (Yazoo City, MS)
