Andress Eagles (El Paso, TX) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the host Hanks Knights (El Paso, TX), 35-14 in a league match.

The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Horizon (El Paso, TX). The Scorpions come into the 5A-2 Region I District 1 match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Horizon was beaten by Hanks (El Paso, TX), 24-13, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Knights confront the Burges Mustangs (El Paso, TX) in a 5A-2 Region I District 1 match, on Friday, October 3. Hanks will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the match with a 3-2 record after their 50-13 league loss to Chapin (El Paso, TX).
