Georgia High School Football - Aquinas tops Howard

September 26, 2025: Augusta, GA 30904

The Aquinas Fightin' Irish football squad scored 51 points and limited the visiting Howard Huskies to 28 in the Fightin' Irish league triumph on Friday.

The Fightin' Irish now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cross Creek for a AAA Region 4 challenge on Friday, October 3. Aquinas will face a Razorbacks team coming off a 57-6 league loss to Hephzibah (Hephzibah, GA). The Razorbacks record now stands at 1-5.

The Huskies (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Westside (Augusta, GA). The Patriots come into the AAA Region 4 outing with a 5-0 record. In their last outing, Westside topped Aquinas (Augusta, GA), 20-14, in a league outing.
