The Athens Golden Eagles (Athens, AL) football knocked off the host Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL), 28-0 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Golden Eagles now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muscle Shoals for a 6A Region 7 game on Friday, October 3. Athens will battle a Trojans team coming off a 42-0 league win over Cullman (Cullman, AL). The Trojans record now stands at 5-0.
