Massachusetts High School Football - Narragansett Regional trounces Athol

September 26, 2025: Baldwinville, MA 01436

In Friday's non-league match, the host Narragansett Regional Warriors football squad scored a decisive 37-0 triumph over the Athol Bears.

The Warriors (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Gardner (Gardner, MA). The Wildcats come into the Midland Wachusett - D match with a 0-3 record. In their last match, Gardner was routed by St. Bernard's Central Catholic (Fitchburg, MA), 44-12, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Bears play the Mahar Regional Senators (Orange, MA) in a Intercounty - North battle, on Friday, October 3. Athol will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Senators go into the battle with a 2-1 record after their 20-14 non-league win over Quaboag Regional (Warren, MA).
