Georgia High School Football - Atkinson County smashes Southwest Georgia STEM Charter

The Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA) football trounced the visiting Southwest Georgia STEM Charter Aggies (Shellman, GA), 70-18 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Rebels now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Southwest Georgia Academy for a non-league game on Friday, October 3. Atkinson County will battle a Warriors team coming off a 40-3 non-league win over Brookwood (Thomasville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 4-2.

The Aggies (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Baconton Charter (Baconton, GA). The Blazers enter the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Baconton Charter was overwhelmed by Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA), 29-0, in a non-league outing.
