    The Grants Pirates walloped the host Aztec Tigers football team by a score of 51-0 in Friday's league challenge.

    In their next game, the Pirates face the Taos Tigers (Taos, NM) in a 4A District 1 challenge, on Friday, October 10. Grants will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record.

    With the defeat, Aztec drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Tigers host Moriarty (Moriarty, NM) to meet the Pintos in a 4A District 1 test on Friday, October 3. The Pintos come into the test with a record of 2-2. Moriarty lost 24-18 in their recent league test against Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM)
