The Bad Axe Hatchets football squad scored 36 points and limited the host Memphis Yellowjackets to 21 in the Hatchets non-league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Hatchets face the Kingston Cardinals (Kingston, MI) in a Big Thumb - Blue (8 Man) game, on Friday, October 3. Bad Axe will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 5-0 record after their 48-20 league win over Brown City (Brown City, MI).

The Yellowjackets (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Deckerville (Deckerville, MI). The Eagles enter the Big Thumb - Blue (8 Man) game with a 5-0 record. In their last game, Deckerville ran past Mayville (Mayville, MI), 58-14, in a league game.
