The Roby Lions (Roby, TX) football trounced the visiting Baird Bears (Baird, TX), 58-12 in Friday's non-league outing.

The Lions now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ira for a 1A 6 Man 1 Region II District 7 (6 Man) outing on Friday, October 10.

With the defeat, Baird drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Bears host Eden (Eden, TX) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Friday, October 3. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 4-1. Eden won 56-16 in their recent non-league outing against Bronte (Bronte, TX)
