In Friday's non-league outing, the Bangs Dragons (Bangs, TX) football squad trounced the host Colorado Wolves (Colorado City, TX), by a margin of 56-0.

The Dragons now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hico for a 2A-1 Region II District 5 outing on Friday, October 17.

With the defeat, Colorado drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Wolves host Christoval (Christoval, TX) to battle the Cougars in a 2A-1 Region I District 3 game on Friday, October 10. The Cougars enter the game with a record of 2-3. Christoval lost 35-0 in their recent non-league game against Mason (Mason, TX)
