Kentucky High School Football - Bardstown trounces Mercer County

In Friday's league match, the visiting Bardstown Tigers football squad scored a decisive 65-22 victory over the Mercer County Titans.

The Tigers (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Casey County (Liberty, KY). The Rebels enter the 3A District 4 match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Casey County was routed by Garrard County (Lancaster, KY), 40-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Titans confront the Lexington Catholic Knights (Lexington, KY) in a 3A District 4 match, on Friday, October 10. Mercer County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
