Mississippi High School Football - Bay Springs nudges Quitman

September 26, 2025: Quitman, MS 39355

In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Bay Springs Bulldogs football squad scored a close 20-14 triumph over the Quitman Panthers.

The Bulldogs (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Clarkdale (Meridian, MS). The Bulldogs go into the 2A Region 6 challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, Clarkdale nipped Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS), 36-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Union (Union, MS). The Yellowjackets come into the 3A Region 5 test with a 5-0 record. In their last test, Union tipped Lake (Lake, MS), 35-22, in a non-league test.
