The Belmond-Klemme Broncos football squad scored 46 points and limited the host BCLUW Comets to 20 in the Broncos league triumph on Friday.
The Broncos now hold a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Fork for a A District 2 test on Friday, October 3. Belmond-Klemme will play a Warhawks team coming off a 28-21 league loss to Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Warhawks record now stands at 4-1.
The Comets (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Newman Catholic (Mason City, IA). The Knights go into the A District 2 challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Newman Catholic knocked off West Fork (Sheffield, IA), 28-21, in a league test.
