    • Colorado High School Football - Brighton loses to Bear Creek

    The Brighton Bulldogs football team (Brighton, CO), was outscored 36-9 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Bear Creek Bears (Lakewood, CO)

    The Bears (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Highlands Ranch (Highlands Ranch, CO). The Falcons enter the 4A South Metro contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Highlands Ranch thwarted Kennedy (Denver, CO), 34-6, in a non-league contest.

    Coming up next, the Bulldogs confront the Rocky Mountain Lobos (Fort Collins, CO) in a 5A Front Range - North contest, on Friday, October 3. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Lobos enter the contest with a 2-3 record after their 34-15 non-league win over Poudre (Fort Collins, CO).
