The Gunter Tigers walloped the visiting Bells Panthers football team by a score of 50-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers face the Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX) in a 3A-2 Region II District 7 test, on Friday, October 10. Gunter will attempt to move on its 4-1 season record.

With the defeat, Bells drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Panthers host Callisburg (Gainesville, TX) to meet the Wildcats in a 3A-2 Region II District 7 test on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-3. Callisburg lost 49-6 in their recent league challenge against Leonard (Leonard, TX)
